Extras Box...
Each side now has an extras box: spare spear and musket squads; scouting squad and cannon with crew
more for the samurai squad
Overall look of revised force, also with an increased size ashigaru squad...
drilling holes in the pack horse and getting ready to paint a few flagettes....
I've done a castle siege setup, with my 40mm figures, to see what suitable items I have - I'm going to have to make a few more things (like scaling ladders).
Decided to setup one of the armies on the table; for two reasons...
1. To check on what I've got and what would be nice to add.
- so far the list is : some extra mounted samurai, a unit of bowmen, a better forward samurai skirmish group plus some chaps with odzutsu hand cannon gun
2. To see how a whole army would fit lengthways on the table, enough room for the opposition
- well only just so I'll have to get some sort of slimmer deployment but at ~180 figs per side it should be achievable.
